Because Christ first loved us

As we settle into the fullness of what Jesus Christ has done for us through his death and resurrection, we are compelled to respond. As a church family, our response is to glorify God by believing in Jesus, belonging to His family, becoming His disciple, and building His Kingdom. A lifestyle of service is a natural result of our response to Christ’s love for us.

When he had washed their feet and put on his outer garments and resumed his place, he said to them, “Do you understand what I have done to you? You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. John 13: 12-14
